  1. Hello, One of our AD2's stopped working while being powered through USB, the PC doesn't detect the USB device at all. I suspect something went wrong with the PC's USB ports (we've had other issues with other equipment in the past). It didn't work as well on another setup on which I also use an AD2, so I imagine something in the power supply fried, although no component look damaged. The LED does not turn on. I checked these two threads which seemed relevant: The ferrites seem OK, as well as the connections (cf 1st thread). I checked the tensions from the FTDI chip (cf 2nd): VCCA and VCORE are OK at +1.8 V, however VPHY, VPLL, and VCCD are all at +5.0 V instead of +3.3 V. I suspect there is an issue with the built-in regulator in the FTDI chip. Would replacing the FTDI chip fix the issue, or could another component be damaged? Thanks! :)
  2. I am trying to use the power supply and I keepy getting this message for V+. V- works just fine by itself. I have tried: reconnecting the Analog Discover 2 restarting my laptop disconnecting every cable and running the AD2 by itself connecting the auxillary supply Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. 不确定这是正确的线程,只是the account to post this since I cannot find anyone having a similar issue. So I am trying to install Waveforms. I am running a 64 bit operating system with Windows 10. Basically everything seems fine until after install. Any time I try and run Waveforms it doesnt run and I get an error message that reads exactly as: "The code cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Issue is I have tried un-installing and re-installing around four times now, including just re-installing without uninstalling the original download. I found a thread on Digilent that had some .exe's for repairing/installing Visual C++ and I have tried those to no avail. This system error shows up three times as well, so I believe the program is trying to launch and is missing some kind of pre-requisite software but from what I can see I have everything. I am sure its a 64 bit operating system, I am sure its Windows 10, and I know that the AD2 is not the problem, as it is not plugged in and it was working fine on my buddies laptop. Please help, I need this to work on my Senior Project during the quarantine and having these installation problems has put me behind, does anyone know where I can find this .dll and where I would need to place it for the software to work properly? Cheers, Eric Bettencourt
  4. My Digital Discovery arrived yesterday from Amazon. After installing Adept 2 runtime and the Waveforms application on my Ubuntu 19.04 system, I connected my device and opened the app and the Opening device window popped up and stayed there. Waveforms recognizes that there is a Digital Discovery there whenever it is plugged in, but is never able to open the device or communicate with it in any way. Are there any suggestions for how to fix this? Thanks
  5. Waveforms can not seem to find my AD2, it does not show up in the waveforms device manager. I can see it in my windows device manager, however, it is identifyed as "USB Serial Converter". Any help would be appreciated.
