Having much benefits using the AD2 during many years, I have now discovered that the power supply outputs having significant switching noise which depends on the output voltage and load at the power supplies! Unloaded it is wellknown that DC-DC power supplies can be pulse skipping and thereby cause low frequency switching noise. But even with reasonable loads the noisy behavior are still significant! Hereby a couple of measurements: Ch1: positive supply Ch2: negative supply Is it possible to reduce/remove this power supply noise? (Except of cause by heavy LP filtering). Hello everyone , Im a master student working on a school project , my task is to actually plot the noise spectral density of 2 signals using the program WAVEFORMS , and analyse their similarities using the mathematical methode : Cross spectral correlation . So if anyone has ideas how to implement this methode in waveforms through javascript . In matlab the function xcorr can do that , but im working with waveforms and the digilent discovery 2 so im not sure if i can import matlab files into that . I'll so much appreciate your help guys . Thank you !

renesas_an1560_making_noise_measurements_pgs_1-3.pdfI have a noise test setup that is measuring the en noise of jfets and is gaining it by 1000x to the AD2. What tools exist in the AD2 - likely either scope with FFT or the SA where I can get reported the rms voltage value over frequency and the number of samples taken for the RMS. I don't want pk-pk as it requires more work and samples to be meaningful to the analog circuit designer - me. Please provide a best practice method as I am struggling at this time. An alternate can be to move to another piece of test equipment if this isn't an intended feature of the AD2. Thanks, Tim agilent_nz_5989-9087EN.pdf
